All Pet Groomery & Boarding Policies:

Your pet is very important to us at All Pet Grooming & Boarding. We have comprised policies to help outline any issues you may have.

Grooming Sensitivity or lack of socialization to grooming:
We completely understand that everyone wants their dog to have the utmost care and we are here for you. But animals are animals and unfortunately don't acclimate to all situations.
-We DO NOT groom highly aggressive dogs. We have to think about the safety for our staff and your pet.
-We will groom sedated or tough to handle dogs to an extent. If we feel that the animals still may harm to themselves or us, we will have to stop grooming that pet.

Grooming:
-Animals tend to not always be cooperative during grooming sessions. Sometimes nicks, razor burn and cuts can happen. Though we truly do not want this to ever happen, it can.
- If your pet is matted, there is an additional $10 fee. Please note that the clipper sometimes cannot tell where the hair begins and where the skin starts when the hair is matted. This can lead to nick, scrapes, razor burn or cuts. Again we would hate for this to happen, but you will be notified if it does.
-All dogs get their ears clean after their bath to prevent any type of ear infection.
- If your pet has any type of visual abnormality, such as growths, dental disease, ear infections, dermatitis, you will be informed.
- Just because you didn't see it and we did, does not mean we did it. Sometimes grooming can unearth old scabs/wounds, growths, cysts, ear infections, ingrown nails, etc. Just because we are informing you of it and you didn't notice it, does not mean we caused it.
- Please make sure you pick your pet up in a timely manner.
- If your pet is here past closing time, he/she will be boarded overnight and a boarding fee of $45 will be added to your cost.

Geriatric and medically compromised pets:
We will take care of all pets nomatter their age, but if they are physically unable to be groomed, we will need to decline. Your pet's safety comes first. If they are unable to walk, stand, or have medical conditions such as heart failure, kidney disease, ACL tears, cancer, or lung problems, we may decline based on how the animal is looking on arrival.
As cats and dogs get older. Their skin becomes thinner and frail. This can lead to nicks and cuts.

Cancellation/No-Show Policy:
We truly understand emergencies come up, but please understand that if you make an appointment, it is your responsibility to keep that appointment.
-If you cancel within 48 hours, 25% of your pet's grooming is due and will be charged via credit card. (Taxes and credit card processing fees will be added).
-If you do not show up, 50% of your pet’s grooming is due and will be charged via credit card. (Taxes and credit card processing fees will be added).
-After 2 consecutive no-shows and/or cancellations, we will no longer put you on the schedule.

Boarding/Day-Care:
-All boarding dogs are required to provide proof of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo/Corona, and Bordetella Vaccinations as per New York State Law.
-All boarding dogs should have a flea/tick preventative, whether it be oral or topical.
-You will need to provide your own food. This helps prevent any gastrointestinal issues may have.
-Your pet's belongings (collars, sweaters, harnesses and leashes) will be taken off and left in the groomery location for storage. We do this to protect your belongings. As dogs tend to play and pull on eachother, they can break collars and rip expensive GPS trackers, name tags off.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES TO BELONGINGS LEFT WITH YOUR PET.
-Please label all medications that need to be administered clearly.
-All dogs will receive baths before going home. Nobody should come home from vacation to a dirty dog.
-Some dogs need more personal interaction during the day. If we believe your pet requires more exercise and stimulation, they will come back and forth with us to work to ensue that they get the attention they need.
-All dogs are crated for feedings and nights. This helps us make sure everyone is eating (especially if they have oral medications) and that everyone is safe at night.
- DOGS CAN BE DOGS just like kids can be kids. Even though every dog has a behavioral screening before entering the boarding program, dogs can become aggressive. Though it is extremely rare, it can happen and you will be notified of any incident.
- Just like kids going to school, viruses and diseases can spread rapidly from dog to dog. Even though these events are extremely rare, they can happen. Sometimes we don't see these clinical signs until they go home.
- Dogs tend to have some weird behaviors while they board. Dogs tend to try to bury their food and can cause a rub in their nose. They can also lose weight either from not eating or having constant play time. Dogs can also drink more than normal. This usually is seen with excitement. Some clients get concerned when their pets go home and initially drink a lot of water. We usually see this in higher energy dogs.
